It’s Time to Meet Your Doppelgänger

The people you see below are complete strangers. It’s the stuff of mythology, a doppelgänger is the living double of another living person, and for Montreal based photographer François Brunelle, you could say it’s a twelve year obsession. François was fascinated by the way individual genes can come together randomly to produce identical looking people. By all means his subjects may look like twins, or at the very least close relatives, but make no mistake they are complete strangers, hand selected as a testament to the strange and incredible doppelgänger phenomenon. Mr. Brunelle has spend the last twelve years matching and uniting people from around the world with their doppelgänger in a fascinating series of portraits. Wouldn’t you love to meet your doppelgänger? I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013 I'm not a look-alike! by Francois Brunelle - Jan 2013
